The Bison SPBA873SSG Ultimate In Ground Basketball System with 72″ Glass Backboard is how an outdoor basketball venue provides indoor gymnasium quality. These systems are meant to take the abuse common on today’s playgrounds, but they have the flexibility and touch typical of high-end competition basketball hoops.

This Bison In Ground Basketball System features a heavy-duty flex goal. A full 15° deflection angle provides the perfect amount of breakaway for a rim. The low-maintenance rim design has 5/8″ steel coupled with a 3/16″ x 1½” support ring.  This durable, orange powder coated finish flex rim mounts on a universal backplate. Mounting hardware and a nylon net are both included.

The massive, heavy-gauge steel 6” x 6″ square post buries a full 40″ into the ground for incredible stability. The steel is powder coated in black for longevity under any weather conditions. The black powder coating also provides a professional finished look.

The in-ground pole is designed to stand a full 5 feet back from the rim. This positioning keeps players safe and allows room to drive fast and finish hard without worrying about a collision with the pole. Safety pole padding and backboard padding are included on this model.
